Spaghetti & Hospitality

I woke up at Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and packed up. Luellen arrived around 9:00 am and then we began our walk to Mary Ann Township Complex. There we were greeted by some of the Mary Ann Township firefighters. They, along with Sharlene & Hoss Nethers, had prepared a spaghetti dinner and homemade desserts and invited the whole community.

We also walked down the road to the fire station and to the Wilkin’s Corner store to take a few pictures. Then it was back at the township complex just in time for the spaghetti dinner. Lots of folks came out and we were joined by a few board members and friends as well.

We also had time to thank the Nethers for helping to arrange the dinner. These folks are long time community volunteers and have been a making a difference in a variety of ways for years.

After the dinner was over I was invited to walk about a mile to the home of Prince Family to stay the night. We stayed up talking a bit before it was time to call it a day. Thanks Prince Family for all of your hospitality.
