Pathways of Central Ohio
Pathways of Central Ohio is a gateway to services which empower the community to achieve success.  Pathways is a private, non-profit social service agency serving Licking, Knox, Richland, Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties. Pathways was established in 1968 and incorporated in 1970.

PROGRAM: 2-1-1 Crisis Hotline & Information Center

MISSION:  The 2-1-1 Crisis/Hotline and Information Center of Pathways of Central Ohio offers confidential 24-hour, 7-day- a-week telephone crisis services for issues involving mental health, suicide, alcohol and drug use/abuse, and intellectual disabilities.   Information and referral services include assistance in linking callers with resources such as temporary housing, financial help, medical care, counseling, victim assistance, domestic violence resources, suicide prevention, and resources for senior citizens.  The center also is the main point of contact for community emergencies or disasters, sponsors a Recovery Line for persons recovering from mental illness, and provides after-hours coverage for many Licking and Knox County social service agencies.

PROGRAM: Adulting 101 

MISSION: The program is designed around helping transitional youth, those graduating high school, exiting foster care, exiting institutions, and those that are homeless.  The program provides training in vocational trades and life-skills courses.  It is offered free of charge to all youth registered in the program.

MISSION: The program addresses immediate crisis needs by providing a safety net of services including providing emergency shelter for up to 90 days, providing financial assistance to clients who are behind on their rent or utilities, providing meals at its soup kitchens, school supplies and summer feeding program for children, and gifts and food for Christmas.

Simon Kenton Council Boy Scouts of America
The Simon Kenton Council is one of the largest councils in the nation serving 17 counties in central and southern Ohio and Greenup County in northern Kentucky.
